Sarah and Phil met at a boxfit class in early 2020 through a mutual friend and then lost touch during a global pandemic before exchanging contact information.
Months later, Sarah (through some encouragement) took matters into her own hands and added him on Facebook. They began writing each other what can only be described as essay-length messages about life, hobbies, and everything in between. Neither of them was fully convinced the other person liked the other romantically (despite talking constantly).
They finally went for lunch (outside during the lockdown), and things started becoming a little more obvious. Many messages later, just before Christmas, Phil gave Sarah a gift filled with thoughtful snacks and items from their conversations, along with a letter confessing his love.
Almost six years later, they are still best friends, making each other laugh, and still grateful they found each other.
